- Assist in the management and execution of PROVAILs internal and external communications plan and PR calendar.
- Collaborate closely with programs and departments to identify notable services, milestones, and successes, and create content and stories for distribution on various internal and external platforms.
- Generate compelling marketing content highlighting program activities, agency events, fundraising activities, staff achievements, client success stories, and more.
- Ensure all content is developed through a lens of diversity, equity, and inclusion, and is representative of the work we do and the clients we serve.
- Draft newsletters for both internal and external audiences.
- Oversee management and organization of digital channels including website and social media.
- Manage distribution lists and develop and execute strategies to grow subscribers/followers, readership, and overall engagement.
- Manage and analyze reports and analytics, and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Stay abreast of trends and make recommendations as appropriate.
- Oversee content development and publish to social media channels.
- Ensure adherence to brand standards and messaging.
- Collect client success stories and media release forms.

- A degree in communications, marketing, or equivalent professional experience.
- Experience in all aspects of developing and managing marketing communications strategies.

As a Marketing & Communications Specialist, youll have a unique opportunity to continue and expand the internal and external work we do that allows for a true difference to be made in the lives of those we serve. You will support internal and external communications and ensure they maintain a consistent voice that creates two-way dialogue and trust amongst team members and stakeholders. You will also have the opportunity to promote PROVAILs three programs Home & Lifestyle, Employment Services, and Mobility & Communication as well as support all communications and planning efforts for PROVAILs two largest annual fundraisers. This position is a hybrid position that supports remote and on-site work out of our North Seattle office.

PROVAIL was founded in 1942 by parents of children with cerebral palsy. They created some of the first community services for individuals with cerebral palsy and other severe disabilities in the area. Our mission is supporting people with disabilities to fulfill their life choices. We help people decide how they want to live their life in the community and then provide the support services they need to act on those choices. We are one of the states largest private, multi-service agencies dedicated to meeting the needs of children and adults with all types of disabilities.
