    We are seeking a Business Development Assistant to become an integral part of our team You will gauge sales opportunities and provide extensive customer service to all clients.

    Responsibilities:

    · Assist Business Development Team in achieving goals, both large and small - daily, monthly, quarterly, yearly.

    · Develop and maintain a customer service centric approach

    · Familiarizing yourself with Ram Alloys products, processes, systems, target markets, value proposition, supply chain, etc.

    · Both inside office and outside office time to interface and communicate with material suppliers and various processing vendors.

    · Assist Business Development Team with sales administration duties - e.g., quoting (initial and follow up), prospecting, sales trips, sales targeting, sales planning, etc.

    · Cold calling and qualifying prospects, as required.

    · Be accountable for individual goals and quotas and customer service.

    · Update Management with progress and suggest improvements, as needed.

    · Data entry, word processing, creating spreadsheets and presentations, as required

    · Assist sales staff as directed by supervisor in planning and booking trips, and related tasks

    · Manage Business Development Teams expense reports

    · Assist with Trade Shows and attend Trade Shows as needed

    · Assist with other administrative tasks in an effort to yield desired results

    Qualifications:

    • Education · High school or equivalent required · Additional education is a plus Experience · Two plus years' experience as an Administrative Assistant supporting multiple managers in a professional work environment or equivalent · Experience working at an industrial facility is a plus Skills · Ability to communicate clearly and courteously over the phone and in person; strong written communication skills also required · Ability and desire to maintain organization in the front office and common areas of the facility · Math aptitude is a plus · Attention to detail
