Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join our team. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with the classroom teacher to provide support and assistance to students.

Duties:

• Assist the classroom teacher in implementing lesson plans and educational activities
• Provide individualized attention and support to students with autism or other special needs
• Help students with daily tasks, such as completing assignments and organizing materials
• Collaborate with the teacher to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
• Assist in managing classroom behavior and promoting positive social interactions
• Support students in developing literacy and math skills through targeted instruction
• Provide guidance and supervision during recess, lunchtime, and other noninstructional periods
• Assist in maintaining a clean and organized classroom environment

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children, preferably in a classroom or daycare setting
• Knowledge of educational strategies for working with students with autism or special needs
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Basic understanding of lesson planning and curriculum development
• Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children
