    Job Type Full-timeDescriptionComprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is among the largest orthotic and prosthetic service providers in the U.S.

    With our extensive network of clinics across the Midwest, we offer our patients an extensive range of state-of-the-art prosthetics (artificial limbs) and orthotic devices.

    Our Mission is Restoring Mobility and Quality of Life Our Patient Service Coordinator's provide efficient, effective, quality customer service and practice support through a variety of general office duties including scheduling, registration and billing.

    Patient Services Coordinators are responsible for cultivating an environment where patients want to return and refer other by ensuring that all customers and patients alike have a positive experience throughout the organization.


    RequirementsRequirements:
    Cultivating a safe/ positive environment for guests that is organized and clean.

    Promptly greeting patients and their loved onesStrong interpersonal skills Excellent communication skills; Both oral and writtenAssist patients to the appropriate treatment roomWorking knowledge of standard office equipment, with the ability to use them (fax, phones, copier, etc.)Understanding of Medical Reimbursement and basic medical terminology (Preferred) Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounts receivable principles.

    (Preferred)Proficient in Windows-based computer applications as well as MS Office suite.
    Strong desire to learn and grow within the organization.
    Scheduling patients according to their needs and company scheduling standards.

    Coordinating with referral sources to collect necessary documentation to ensure our practitioners have the necessary information to deliver proper care to patients i.e.

    X-Rays, referrals, prescriptions.
    Data entry in Patient Management System, i.e. creating new patient accounts.
    Present and explain enrollment & financial responsibility documents with patients.
    Obtain signatures as evidence that we presented documents for regulatory compliance, Specifically, Supplier Standards and HIPAA Documents.

    Obtain & record copies of insurance cards and photo identification in the Patient Management SystemReceive and Input patient demographic data into Patient Management System.

    Entry (shared duty) and verification of patient enrollment documents into Patient Management SystemNotify practitioners of arrival and document location in the Patient Management System.

    Collaborate with other teams to ensure Authorizations are complete.
    Obtain and record monies due from Patients.


    Physical Requirements:
    Ability to lift at least 50 pounds and work with physically handicapped individuals

    Education & Certification Requirements:
    High School Diploma or equivalentComprehensive Prosthetics & Orthotics (CPO) is an Equal Opportunity Employer (EOE).
