Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years special education experience required.

ProCare Therapy is currently seeking a dedicated and qualified Special Education Resource Teacher to join our team. As a Special Education Resource Teacher, you will have the opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of students with special needs. We are looking for an individual who is passionate about providing high-quality education and support to students with diverse learning needs.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
Provide direct instruction and support to students in resource special education settings.
Collaborate with general education teachers and other support staff to ensure the implementation of appropriate accommodations and modifications.
Assess student progress and make necessary adjustments to instructional strategies.
Utilize a variety of instructional techniques and materials to address students' unique learning needs.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress, attendance, and behavior.
Communicate regularly with parents/guardians to provide updates on student performance and progress.

Requirements:

Certification Requirements: K-12 LBS1, PEL (Professional Educator License).
Experience working with students with moderate special needs is preferred.
Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team of professionals.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with students with special needs.
Full-time position: 37.5 hours per week.
