- Perform research, corrections, and updates within accounts receivable management systems to facilitate billing and receipt of compensation for services rendered during resident care.
- Execute account management functions including billing, collection, reimbursement calculations, cash posting, and reconciliation for assigned inventory
- Conduct accurate pre-billing reviews, billing, follow-ups, and cash posting of charges within the designated functional area
- Validate claims through
- Triple Check Claim Validation Billing for all business lines, follow up on
- 3rd Party and Private Pay accounts, and manage cash and denials posting along with credit balance and refund resolution.
- Facilitate Resident Final Billing processes to ensure accuracy and timeliness.
- Minimum one (1) year healthcare accounts receivable experience in billing, collections, cash posting or other healthcare revenue cycle related experience.
- Knowledge of billing, collections, and cash posting processes in a health care provider environment.
- Experience working with CPT and ICD-10.
