Physician's office in the city of Providence, KY, with nephrology and outpatient dialysis, is seeking a medical assistant.

You will be responsible for the pre- and post-care of patients and have the opportunity to train in dialysis and eventually complete advanced training to become a dialysis specialist.

You should be able to work one Saturday per month, for which you will receive a weekday off, and you should be proficient in venipuncture.

Our team is highly competent and there will always be someone available to assist you.

The offered conditions are very good and the position should be filled with a minimum of 30 hours per week.

Responsibilities:

  • You will be responsible for the pre and postcare of dialysis patients
  • You will be trained in the dialysis process
  • You will take care of patients and may perform venipuncture
  • You will handle documentation

Qualifications:

  • You have completed training as a medical assistant
  • You are proficient in venipuncture
  • You have an interest in further training
