The Blind Institute Würzburg supports and advises a total of 3,840 children, adolescents, and adults with visual impairments or blindness and other disabilities from all over Lower Franconia at various locations. Our clients receive perspectives and are supported in their individual development and independence: from early childhood, through school, the transition to working life, and participation in working life, to life after the working phase. In total, around 1,200 colleagues work at the Blind Institute Würzburg.

Your Responsibilities

Your main tasks in early intervention are:
orthoptic examinations in the home environment of blind and visually impaired young children with additional support needs
flexible time frames for individual work with children
depending on the needs and concerns of the clients
consultation of diagnostic reports with educational staff
The weekly working hours are 8 hours. If necessary, you can increase your working hours (up to a total of 35 hours per week) in the following departments:
