- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited institution with 3+ years of Contracts, Business Administration, Finance or directly related experience, or Master's Degree with 1+ years of relevant Contracts, or directly related experience .

Northrop GrummanSpace Systemsis seeking a Contract Administrator 2 or 3 to join its team of qualified and diverse individuals supporting the Science and Robotic Exploration Contracts team. This is a unique opportunity to build experience, mentoring relationships, and career growth by contributing to the Contracts role. This position is located in our Dulles, VA office, and offers unique flexibility while supporting the Contracts team.
The Contract Administrator will produce high quality Contract Management related products supporting the NGSP Tactical Space Systems Division (TSSD) Science and Robotic Exploration (S&RE) programs. This position requires a basic understanding of US Government contracting, excellent communication skills, strong technology acumen in M365, as well as interpersonal and organizational skills. Experience working with NASA as the ultimate customer is a plus. The ideal candidate is a team player; but also, a strong independent contributor with strong leadership skills, demonstrated problem-solving skills, and a proactive, detail-oriented approach.
The Contract Administrator will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines and handle multiple tasks. The Contract Administrator must possess the ability to work well with others in high-stress high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal functional and program organizations, and meet the goals/objectives of the S&RE operating unit.

Basic Qualifications for Contract Administrator (Level 2):
Salary Range 2: $88,700 - $133,100
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
