Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Procurement Manager to join our team. The Procurement Manager will be responsible for overseeing the purchasing of goods and services for our organization. This role requires strong negotiation skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage supplier relationships effectively.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to optimize purchasing processes and achieve cost savings.
- Identify and evaluate suppliers based on price, quality, and delivery speed.
- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to secure favorable terms and conditions.
- Monitor supplier performance and address any issues or concerns that arise.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand their purchasing needs and requirements.
- Manage inventory levels to ensure adequate stock levels while minimizing excess inventory.
- Stay informed about market trends and industry best practices to make informed purchasing decisions.
- Track and report key procurement metrics to measure performance and identify areas for improvement.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Procurement Manager or in a similar role.
- Strong negotiation skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with suppliers.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving abilities.
- Proficiency in procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business administration or supply chain management.
- Certification in procurement or supply chain management (e.g., CSCP, CPSM, CPM).
- Experience working in [specific industry or sector].
Pay:
$79, $96,171.81 per year
