Description

We are currently seeking highly qualified and motivated individuals to join our team as
Special Inspectors (NDT and AWS - CWI certified) for immediate Building, Transportation, & Infrastructure Projects.

As a Special Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and compliance of construction projects by conducting thorough construction inspections and assessments.

Bachelor's Degree in Civil, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architecture
A minimum of 1 years of experience
inspecting construction work in the city of NY, varied in Size and complexity.
Familiarity with Chapter 17 of the NYC building code.
Currently holds a valid certification in 2 or more of the following:
_AWS Certified Welding Inspector _

- _AWS Certified Associate Welding Inspector - _
REQUIRED_
- _ICC Structural Steel and Bolting Inspector _
- _ICC Structural Welding Inspector _
- _Non Destructive Testing

Level II Certified (UT, MT, PT) _
REQUIRED_

- _NYS Licensed Professional Engineer or Registered Architect _

Completed up to date training in: fall protection, scaffolding and ladders, workzone safety, & minimum of 10hour OSHA construction safety.

Qualified professionals will also have:

Ability to communicate with colleagues and clients of all levels
Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to provide inspection reports in a timely manor
Reliable means of transportation & valid driver's license
Willingness to obtain additional certifications
Works well with a team and individually
Familiarity with construction industry codes
High School diploma or equivalent
