    Recruiting Solutions is searching for a Logistics Coordinator for a company located in Florence, SC area. The main responsibility of this role is to ensure that all inbound and outbound loads are effectively scheduled with the carriers. This position directly reports to the Logistic Manager.

    Job Duties:

    • Regular communication with customer service and warehouse regarding shipping loads
    • Scheduling and maintaining accuracy of inbound and outbound loads for different locations
    • Monitoring carrier performance and updating on-time performance percentage monthly
    • Timely resolution of transportation issues
    • Liaising with vendors, carriers, peers, and various departments for shipping and receiving requirements
    • Management of rail car orders
    • Weighing various truck types and guiding them to suitable docks
    • Tracking of loads and coordinating communication through emails, phone calls, and in-person interactions
    • Preparing driver paperwork for outbound shipments for necessary signatures

    Requirements:

    • Experience in Logistics or related field
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Strong time management and attention to detail skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Great Plains software is advantageous
    • Preferably a college degree
