RESPONSIBILITIES
- Establish and maintain maximum and minimum inventory levels.
- Coordinate with teams to promote accurate and timely processing of orders for customers.
- Provide assistance for maintaining logistics planning tasks.
- Scan orders and track shipments across multiple channels.
- Administer and maintain inventory control program systems.
- Support with maintenance of logistics policies, procedures, support plans and similar data.
- Manage and monitor the performance of fleet, routing, and scheduling planning.
- Drives a culture of "Do It Safe, Do It Right the First Time" with actions and words.
- Safely and efficiently performs assigned processes to meet the required daily logistics activities.
- Collaborates and communicates with logistics technicians, customer service representatives, quality personnel, and others involved in the shipment and receipt of products about information related to the shipment.
- Tracks, traces, and updates the status of shipments.
- Participates in continuous improvement training and trains others.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan, direct, or coordinate the transportation, storage, or distribution of goods and services.
- Develop forecasting plans to maintain enough inventory.
- Verify goods reach their destination in a timely manner.
- Establish priorities, track assignments, and ensure availability of resources.
- Maintain schedules and deadlines.
- Comply with plant standards and shipping regulations.
- Work with loading and warehouse personnel to ensure shipments and cost targets are met.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Mandatory
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field strongly preferred.
- Minimum 5 years previous experience in logistics management, coordination, or supply chain management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Welldeveloped motivational and leadership skills.
- Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs. minimum.
