- Review USAF and DoD technical and publication changes to determine if changes to the device baselines are required.
- Coordinate all required changes to device baselines.
- Ensure generation, implementation, and maintenance of Configuration Management procedures.
- Review and provide status on QA/CM activities to higher-level management.
- Interface with appropriate internal and external stakeholders.
- Ensure that all data may be recovered/restored in case of a system crash or repository corruption.
- Ensure archival of configuration management items.
- Provide status reports on hardware and software configuration items.
- Provide configuration management services to sites and the TSSC.
- Supports all aspects of the quality program in the T-38 ATD CLS program - scheduling, auditing, and reporting of QA activities.
- Responsible for maintaining configuration control of all TSSC configuration items and for ensuring all files distributed in support of ATD and CLS to meet current standards for operation.
- Maintains the configuration management library, including historical records for all T-38 configuration items.
- Correlates and tracks Processes Deficiency Reports, Corrective Action Requests, and Preventive Actions.
- Maintains all required QA/CM documentation for the life of the contract.
- Helps with tracking TSCOs. Releases tested and approved updates to all T-38 ATD CLS Sites.
- Reviews and/or helps write plans and procedures for the TSSC and the T-38 program.
- Participates in the Configuration Working Group (CWG)
- Manages assigned projects as required.
- Performed other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor's degree is required.
- Knowledge of military configuration management requirements.
- Ability to implement CM library processes and procedures on a large program.
- Experience in CLS Maintenance and/or engineering on T-38/USAF/USN Trainer devices desired.
- Knowledge of Military configuration management requirements.
- Knowledge of AS9100 and/or ISO 9001 quality management system requirements.

- Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Project, and Word.

- Must be able to work overtime as required.
- Must be willing to work any shift or day of the week as required.
- Must have an understanding of military protocols and customs is essential.
- Must be able to work with a wide variety of people and work well with personnel and program stakeholders.
- Must be willing to travel as required.
- Domestic travel as required.
- Must be able to walk and/or climb stairs and ladder into a simulator.
- Must be able to climb flights of stairs to office, or able to use a commercial/service elevator.
- Must be able to stoop, bend, and crawl on top of or under machinery.
- Work in a regular open office environment; communicate via personal computer, telephone, MS Teams, and able to use a printer/copier/scanner/fax machine.
- Will be working in areas with risk of electrical shock and from moving mechanical parts.
- Will at times be exposed to the following conditions: airborne particles, and loud noises.

QUALITY ASSURANCE AND CONFIGURATION MANAGEMENT - JBSA Randol
Focal point for management of the total T-38 Aircrew Training Device (ATD) and Contractor Logistics Support (CLS) quality assurance program and configuration management program. This position is located in the Training System Support Center (TSSC) and reports directly to the TSSC Operations Manager. This role will begin as part time, with the potential to evolve to full time.
