    Part-Time Position, 12 Hours per Week

    Location: Onsite

     

    Job Summary:
    Carries out radiology examinations within the GXMO scope authorized by the Ohio Department of Health. This includes general x-ray procedures conducted in the presence of a Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine on-site. The Radiology GXMO technician is tasked with supporting technologists during radiographic/fluoroscopic procedures and offering clerical/technical assistance to ensure efficient workflow.

    Responsibilities:

    • Perform general x-ray procedures under the supervision of a registered technologist on site.
    • Assist radiographer with technical and clerical tasks.
    • Maintain inventory levels by monitoring and restocking supplies.
    • Screen patients and gather relevant medical history.
    • Explain procedures to patients and address their queries and concerns.
    • Manage patient flow by monitoring and confirming exams.
    • Transport patients when necessary.
    • Adhere to all quality assurance and quality control protocols for equipment.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned.

    Additional Requirements:
     

    Technical Skills:

    • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to build and maintain positive working relationships.
    • Proficiency in MS Office tools like Outlook, Excel, and Word, or similar software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Education: Currently enrolled in the final year or graduate of a Radiologic Technology program.
    • Certification: Hold a General X-ray Machine Operator License issued by the Ohio Department of Health. Completion of competency-based clinical training modules including Chest and Abdomen, Extremities, Skull and Sinuses, Spine, and Podiatry.
    • Obtain licensure as an X-Ray Technologist within one year of Radiologic Technology Program graduation.
