- Assist on setup of new product; documenting all parameters and settings needed to run production.
- Set-up of equipment for production.
- Responsible to report any and all, major or minor food safety problems to personnel with authority to initiate action.
- Promote food safety and quality awareness throughout the organization.
- Retrieve, stage, accurately verify formulas and lot numbers, and document ingredients used in Capsule batches.
- Operate Capsule equipment according to product manufacturing instructions to produce high quality product in an efficient and cost-effective manner.
- Thoroughly clean, sanitize and organize workspaces and shared facility areas as directed to maintain an efficient and high-quality manufacturing operation and environment.
- Complete and submit prescribed daily and/or weekly checklists of key facility equipment and utilities to ensure consistent and effective operation of manufacturing processes.
- Knowledge of basic mathematics
- Flavor industry desired.

We are looking for a skilled Machine Operator - Encapsulators for our second shift (2pm-10pm) to maintain and operate machinery. You'll make sure the machines are running efficiently. A great machine operator is reliable and able to pay attention to detail and safety standards. On-the-job training is a good way to discover how to do the job better, so you should have willingness to learn and improve. We are looking for someone who is a team player. Some computer skills and math skills are a plus as well. MUST be able to lift 50 pounds continuously throughout the day and be able to work in a hot environment.
