The Company:
Our client is an esteemed 5-star hotel located in Washington, DC, renowned for delivering exceptional guest experiences and providing luxurious accommodations.
They are looking for a strategic, proactive Director of Group Sales who will play a key role in optimising the hotel's sales and profit.
Main Responsibilities:
Play a key role in driving revenue and establishing strong, long-lasting relationships with clients
Stay up to date with industry trends and competition offerings, using market research and data analysis to identify opportunities for growth to help stay ahead of competition and drive sales
Present sales reports and make recommendations based on the findings. Collaborate with hotel executives to develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans to maximise revenue potential
Lead and manage the Sales team, ensuring all team members are fully supported and equipped to do their jobs successfully
Represent the brand and culture in the best possible light within and outside of the organisation
Manage budgets and allocate resources amongst different projects, ensuring maximum efficiency and return-on-investment
The Ideal Candidate:
3 years experience in Sales Management, preferably working with a luxury hotel/resort
A natural, dynamic leader with superb presentation and negotiation skills
Experience with MS Office and software systems
Relevant degree is preferred
Ability to work a flexible schedule as required
Strong communication and decision-making skills
