Your tasks:

Planning and executing development projects for sophisticated optical systems in close cooperation with key customers from the semiconductor equipment industry in a self-responsible and proactive manner
Taking over system responsibility and creating specifications
Accompanying the developed products into production / series production
Close technical exchange with internal and external customers
Central, interdisciplinary contact person for the areas of development, production, sales and product management
Supervision of external development partners and suppliers

Completed university degree (diploma, master) in an engineering field, preferably with a PhD in physics
Strong analytical skills combined with independent, conceptual and innovative work style
International mindset combined with enjoyment of working in a team in a role with many interfaces
Structured and organized work style, communication and conflict management skills, willingness to take responsibility, service and customer orientation
Knowledge and experience in the development of complex products with optical, optoelectronic or microtechnical functionality, preferably in an industrial environment
Expertise in the manufacturing technology of optics and precision mechanics as well as experience in dealing with international customers, development partners and suppliers are particularly advantageous
Experience in project management and handling of know-how
