As the Business Office Manager, you will be responsible for managing all facets of the business office, including oversight of the receptionistKey responsibilities include:
Financial Management:
Follow Corporate and State regulations for the Business Office.
Daily deposit and posting of cash, ensuring accurate and timely recording of financial transactions.
Completion of 3618/19s online.
Filing Medicaid applications and managing the Medicaid billing process.
Hospice and VA billing.
Managing and auditing resident accounts, including private collections.
Administrative Responsibilities:
Oversight of the receptionist.
Efficiently manage Trust Fund operations.
Maintain and organize financial charts.
Meet with families to discuss and clarify financial obligations.
Technical Skills:
Experience with PointClickCare is essential.
Strong Medicaid billing knowledge is a must.
Familiarity with Waystar and MCO provider portals to efficiently work claims is a plus.
Ability to screen and complete Medicaid applications accurately.
Qualifications:
Proven experience as a Business Office Manager in a nursing home setting.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
