About the role

Computacenter, the largest independent IT business in Europe and the US, is in need of a Senior SAP Specialist specializing in SAP Logistic (LO) and Supply Chain Management (SCM).

As an SAP Specialist at Computacenter, you will wear multiple hats - from solution to business analyst to project manager. This diverse role offers a mix of challenges and opportunities, allowing you to take full ownership of your projects.

Located in the USA, the perfect candidate should possess a solid technical background in Logistics and Warehouse Management processes and systems, with strong technical proficiency.

What you'll be doing

Be a core member of a dynamic, agile team responsible for driving business change and continuous improvement.
Collaborate with internal IS staff, business program managers, and third-party suppliers.
Own a successful end-to-end system test and oversee the business test cycle ensuring a positive outcome.
Act as the bridge between business stakeholders and IS development teams to gather, challenge, prioritize, and document requirements.
Ensure systems development aligns with specifications and cross-platform requirements are effectively met.
Manage third-level support for existing warehousing systems like SAP WM and EWM.
Proactively maintain knowledge of Computacenter's best practices and processes.
Handle complex assignments and business improvement projects.
Demonstrate proactive judgment and initiative in problem-solving and decision-making.
Embrace a resolution-oriented approach with transparent communication and knowledge-sharing within the team.
Create and maintain SAP documentation, including process and training materials.
Communicate, document, and demonstrate new processes and business change releases.
Engage in discovery sessions, meetings, and conferences to share outcomes and actions with peers.
Ensure business processes are customer-centric and drive satisfaction.

What you have

Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience.
2-5 years of SAP query-building experience required.
Familiarity with SPRO.
Prior SAP or ERP implementation experience is advantageous.
Strong technical expertise in E2E Logistic and Supply Chain Management processes in SAP ECC.
Knowledge of Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) is a plus.
Experience in implementing solutions in SAP SCM and integrated 3PLs.
Proficiency in EDI/IDOCS/XML.
Good understanding of SAP, Salesforce CRM, MS Office, and MS Teams.
Legal authorization to work in the United States.
