Description
Responsibilities:
Oversee the medication dispensing process within the warehouse operational pharmacy.
Ensure accurate preparation and timely distribution of pharmaceuticals to long-term care facilities.
Maintain comprehensive records of all medications stored and dispensed.
Implement and monitor compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care plans.
Manage inventory levels to prevent shortages and overstock situations.
Conduct regular quality checks to ensure medication safety and efficacy.
Requirements:
Valid Pharmacist license in the state of practice.
Experience in a clinical pharmacy setting, long-term care experience preferred.
Strong understanding of pharmacy operations and regulations.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Proficient in pharmacy management software and technology.
