STR is seeking aLead Program Manager
to join our System Development Division's Program Management team. This position can be based out of our
Woburn, MA; Arlington, VA; or Dayton, OH
offices.
What you will do:
Effectively execute multiple key programs to ensure cost, schedule and technical program metrics are being tracked and within plan
Provide expertise in proposal development by leading the capture and proposal writing/delivery while ensuring adherence to gated capture process
Create Subcontractor statements of work and manage/track Subcontractors to ensure proper execution.
Lead multi-functional teams
Provide regular program briefs to System Development Division Leadership
Create and maintain an environment that fosters collaboration by giving clear direction and constructive feedback to the team
Monitor progress against goals:
anticipate risks, resolve issues, and initiate corrective actions as appropriate
Who you are:
This position requires an
Active Top Secret
security clearance, for which U.S. citizenship is needed by U.S. Government.
Bachelor's Degree and minimum of 10 years of prior relevant experience in Government contracting, research and development, or test and evaluation
10 years of program management experience delivering operational aero-space capabilities to the Department of Defense
Program Manager or Control Account Manager experience in a design and development and/or build contract including Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) definition, schedule generation, financial analysis/reporting, and resource management
Experience managing projects larger than $50M for the Department of Defense
Excellent interpersonal and communications skills
Successful experience in leading and managing multi-discipline teams
Strong presentation and organizational skills
Ability to travel up to 30% as needed
Nice to have:
Familiarization with Air Force acquisition system and fielding operational capabilities to the Air Force aviation community
Program experience across Special Forces, Space, Cyber, and other military domains
Earned Value Management System (EVMS) experience
Experience in Proposal Management including planning and cost estimation
Risk and Opportunity Management
Proficiency in all MS Office applications including but not limited to Project, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
