    Senior Staff Accountant Position at Healthcare Company

    Our client in Plymouth Meeting is seeking a Senior Staff Accountant to join their team. This is a direct hire, full-time position at their office location with a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.

    Job Summary:

    The Senior Staff Accountant will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records to monitor the organization's financial status, tax liabilities, and other financial activities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Perform general accounting tasks and other related duties.
    • Prepare monthly journal entries and income statements.
    • Reconcile monthly bank accounts and process fund disbursement checks.
    • Handle accounts payable invoices and ensure proper allocation of payments.
    • Assist external auditors during annual audits.
    • Maintain knowledge of accounting best practices.
    • Perform additional assigned duties as needed.

    Required Skills:

    • Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.
    • Advanced analytical and Excel skills.
    • Familiarity with generally accepted accounting principles.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and accounting software.

    Education and Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.
