- A degree (relevant to manufacturing / engineering is preferred) and generally 8 plus years of experience in a manufacturing and manufacturing Engineering preferably Automotive manufacturing Field.
- Contribute to the creation and implementation of best practice Lean vision, strategy, policies, processes and procedures to aid and improve operational performance.
- Work as part of the management team to share ideas and improve operation, recommending, and implementing continuous improvement activities and process and procedure to optimize results and improve quality of delivery, in line with quality standards delivery in line with company and customer requirements.
- Work collaboratively, negotiate and engage with key stakeholders to facilitate delivery and with the Lean strategy.
- Lead, define and develop continuous improvement activities designed to improve performance, as the planning and running of lean events.
- Undertake business process analysis, statistical analysis for improvement projects and to support wider change.
- Report on progress of projects, understanding the risks, dependencies, budgets, resourcing, critical milestones and forthcoming pipeline, and actions necessary to ensure success.
- Coach and facilitate teams and individuals to identify and implement improvement opportunities.
- People management and project management
- Master Black Belt in Six Sigma or equivalent qualification is advantageous.
- Have experience working with integrated computer programs (ERP) and/or applications.
- Have strong communication, administrative, and organizational skills, and possess the ability to multiple projects and programs

The job requires a management professional having strong manufacturing background and strong skills in continuous improvement and efficiencies across HMUS's products, systems, operations, and processes.
This Professional would lead the Lean process improvement activities in the plant in United States, incoordination with global teams, would also work with multifunction teams in the plant team to develop and improve plant lean operation system including manufacturing and material management systems.
Responsible for the successful management and implementation of business improvement projects/initiatives across the business, ensuring that Health, Safety and Environmental requirements are adhered to.
