We are Systems, LLC a leading manufacturer and designer of loading dock equipment. We continue to GROW and are seeking a motivated team player to join our organization.Job Summary:
As a Machine Shop Operator I: Auto Drill, you are expected to perform basic machining operations using hydraulic presses, drill presses, or iron worker, and work in tandem with press and shear operators to shear and form metal parts.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Perform basic machining operations using hydraulic presses, drill presses, or iron worker
- Work in tandem with press and shear operators to shear and form metal parts
- Perform basic quality control checks
- Perform daily and/or weekly operator equipment maintenance
- Operate cranes, hoists, and lift tables to load/unload material
- Label materials produced and scan shop orders within an ERP system
- Comply with health and safety guidelines and rules; managers should also ensure compliance across their teams.
- Protect Chamberlain Group's and Systems' reputation by keeping information confidential.
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reading professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies.
- Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing related results and participating on projects as needed.
Minimum Qualifications:
- No minimum education required
- No prior experience
- Ability to accurately read a tape measure to 1/32"
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a manufacturing, machine shop, or related environment
