    Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Tech Control


    QA Engineer to join our team supporting the Joint Service Provider Enterprise Transport Management - Next Gen (JSP ETM - NG) within the National Capitol Region.


    Due to the nature of work this role entails, telecommuting is not allowed and will require the employee to report full-time onsite.


    Description :
    Provide QA/QC on all circuits/systems installed in the PATCF/PPTCF/NPOP/SPOP/ Telecommunications Rooms for which JSP has operations and maintenance purview
    Develop, implement, and maintain a Quality Control Plan that will ensure installation quality meets or exceeds all requirements, and provides a record for acceptance of the work performed
    Process all Tech Control internal/external equipment Request for Space packets and submit them to the weekly TWG for approval
    Assist customers requiring rack space in the NPOP/SPOP by ensuring the correct facility manager is notified
    Compile metrics and status updates for weekly QA reporting
    Maintain knowledge of Tech Control equipment such as Switches, Encryption devices, Network Operation Consoles, and Circuits.
    Maintain aggressive approach to manage, present, communicate and deliver responsive technical solutions
    Demonstrated initiative, sound judgment, effective decision-making, leadership, strong work ethic, teamwork, and competent writing and oral communication skills



    Requirements :


    Bachelor's degree (in Computer Science or Management Information Systems) or equivalent, and two to four years of related (data center environment) experience.


    Required Certifications:
    DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification

    Familiarity with a wide variety of network routing and switching equipment devices from multiple vendor; Scripting languages such as Pearl, Python, coding for network threshold events.

    Use of computers and an ability for productivity in a government environment within the NCR
    Ability to travel within the NCR to visit various physical customer locations
