    Job Summary:


    Reporting to the Executive Director of Marketing & Communications and closely aligned with the Director of Admission, the Enrollment Marketing Specialist supports the development, planning, and execution of email, direct, and digital marketing strategies to support Drury University's enrollment goals for full-time, part-time, and graduate degree programs.

    They will also serve as the project lead for reporting on email, direct, and digital marketing efforts.

    The Enrollment Marketing Specialist works in an environment with tight deadlines.

    This person needs to excel at project management (balancing multiple projects at once and managing detailed timelines), understand and align marketing messaging with the student mindset and must be able to work as an integral cross-functional team member.

    Successful candidates will have hands-on experience with marketing automation tools such as Pardot, Marketo, etc. College marketing or admissions experience is a plus.


    Duties/Responsibilities:

    Project manager and oversee the communication flow between Marketing and Communications and Drury's Day School, graduate, evening, and online programs.

    Maintain the communications calendar, articulate, and manage deadlines.

    Schedule and facilitate meetings to look over proofs, brainstorm, and ensure efforts are coordinated, ensuring "one voice" across all programs.

    Work with strategic partners on the coordination of messaging, branding, and ads across all media platforms.

    Collaboration with outside vendors on print pieces, under the leadership of the Director of Publications & Creative Services, to ensure materials are available and ordered for mailed items.

    Creating (writing) and sending of emails (with collaboration from Associate Director of Campus Visits and Events and Slate CRM Administrator, text messaging, direct mail (including postcard projects), and print.

    This includes the overall timeline plan in coordination with what is important for each

    department/program.
    Collaborating with CRM managers (Day, Grad, and Drury GO) to make sure all communication is logged.
    Work with Slate CRM Administrator to ensure proper data is utilized, including accurate counts, addresses, text, and deliverability.
    Work with academic departments to have the most up-to-date knowledge of ongoing and future projects.
    Keep a running list of student profiles available.
    Be familiar with what campus photos would be a good match for projects.

    Requires a minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Communication, Writing, Marketing or related field, together with a minimum of three years' experience in those areas or college admission, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Strong persuasive writing skills
    Expertise in all forms of traditional and non-traditional media, including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter/X, Instagram, etc.
    Excellent market research, planning, and presentation skills.
    Ability to evaluate, select, and manage outsourced vendors.

    Ability to multi-task, set goals, prioritize, and organize tasks and workload in order to complete projects in a timely manner.

    Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse constituency.
    Highly motivated by results and student concerns.
    Knowledge of Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, and programs associated with website design and maintenance.
    Ability to think critically and creatively while developing and executing effective marketing and outreach plans.
    Collaborative, collegial attitude with a "can do" mentality.
    Ability to prepare presentations and speak publicly to internal and external groups.


    Education and Experience:


    Bachelor's degree in Communication, Writing, Marketing or related field, together with a minimum of three years' experience in those areas or college admission, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.


    Supervisory Responsibilities:
    Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Supervises applicable personnel.

    Responsibilities include training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
