WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Software Engineer, you will be responsible for building the back-end wiring, application logic, and UI to engage our users effectively. Utilize cutting-edge technologies to enhance features and develop new products. Your role will encompass all stages of the development process, from design and coding to testing and fine-tuning. Take ownership of your projects as they progress through our dynamic development cycle. Collaborate not only with fellow engineers but also with other teams to design exceptional products that cater to the global community of students and teachers.

TECHNOLOGY

Our server-side stack comprises Linux, Apache, Java, Scala, Python, and Oracle. Swift is used for iOS app development, while our front-end code is crafted in JavaScript (including React, D3 libraries, and ES6). The specific technologies and languages you will utilize may vary depending on the project and your areas of interest or specialization.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

Bachelor's or advanced degree in computer science or a related field
Exceptional programming abilities
Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills
Ability to collaborate independently and with diverse teams
Knowledge of Unix, Python, Java, SQL, or JavaScript is advantageous
Passionate about leveraging technology to enhance education
