Description

We are a young and dynamic company specializing in museum lighting and we are looking for an experienced and dedicated purchasing/logistics manager to be responsible for efficient planning, procurement, and organization of our logistical processes. In this role, you will play a central role in our company by ensuring smooth material and goods flows and optimizing our inventory.

Your responsibilities

  • Managing the entire purchasing process, including identifying and selecting suppliers, negotiating contracts and terms, and monitoring delivery dates
  • Inventory management and monitoring of stock levels to ensure timely availability of materials and avoid excess inventory
  • Optimizing logistical processes, including managing transportation and shipping processes and collaborating with freight forwarders and logistics service providers
  • Evaluating and selecting logistics partners to ensure efficiency and quality in supply chains
  • Continuously improving purchasing and logistics processes by implementing best practices and identifying cost-saving opportunities

Your profile

  • Completed degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field
  • Demonstrated professional experience in purchasing, logistics, or supply chain management, ideally in a similar industry
  • Thorough understanding of purchasing and logistics principles, as well as related legal and contractual aspects
  • Knowledge of warehouse management systems and experience in optimizing inventory levels
  • Negotiation skills and experience working with suppliers and logistics service providers
