"Deutsche Bahn is one of the most diverse employers in Germany. Every year, we are looking for over 5,000 apprentices in 50 different professions who want to grow and improve with us.

We are currently seeking candidates for a 3-year apprenticeship as a Track Builder / Civil Engineering Specialist (m/f/d) for DB InfraGO AG at our location in Trier. The vocational school is located in Koblenz for the first year, and the training workshop and vocational school are in Ludwigshafen for the second and third year.
What to expect during your apprenticeship:
  • You will work with your team on construction sites, maintaining our railway tracks
  • Together, you will work on tracks and switches, inspecting them for any issues and replacing damaged parts
  • You will also renew the stones and gravel layers under the tracks, using modern machinery to make the job easier
  • Ensuring precise measurements to prevent any shaking during train rides will be a key part of your work
  • After your apprenticeship, you will be an essential part of the team, responsible for ensuring the safe and smooth transportation of passengers to their destinations
Your profile:
  • You have (or will soon have) completed your education
  • You prefer working outdoors rather than in an office setting
