    Job Title: Event Production Manager

    The Event Production Manager will be the main contact for the client throughout the planning process. They will collaborate with our on-site event, technology, and control room teams to ensure a smooth meeting event experience from beginning to end. Their role includes executing the client's event vision, providing full support from kick-off to post-event. Additionally, they will act as a project manager and oversee on-site tasks by the Event Operations Team. The Event Production Manager plays a key role in supporting our hybrid, virtual, and physical meetings products while embodying Convene's values and upholding our hospitality standards.

    As the Event Production Manager, some of your responsibilities include:

    • Planning and managing all aspects of meetings programs across physical, hybrid, and virtual products.
    • Effectively communicating with associates, clients, and Convene departments in a friendly and service-oriented manner.
    • Collaborating with the Sales team to support pre-sales activities and ensure successful events.
    • Scheduling kick-off calls with clients and developing event timelines.
    • Being the primary point of contact for clients leading up to the event.
    • Coordinating with teams to finalize menus, room diagrams, AV needs, and third-party vendors.
    • Creating detailed event documentation for each booking and tracking project timelines.
    • Conducting pre-event and post-event debriefs for internal stakeholders and clients.
    • Providing updates to stakeholders on pre-production milestones to ensure successful event delivery.
    • Supervising financial aspects such as program checks and balances.

    What We Look For:

    • 3+ years in a customer-facing role.
    • Prior experience in event planning and project management.
    • Proficiency in web-based collaboration tools like Slack, Salesforce, and Google Suite.
    • Familiarity with SaaS, event platforms, and video/web conferencing is a plus.
    • Strong business acumen and ability to stay composed under pressure.
    • Problem-solving skills and a focus on meeting customer needs.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize customer satisfaction.
