Our SYEP & WLG provides services on job readiness skills, resume writing, dress for success, role models, connections to internships, and learning work norms and culture to school-based youth ages 14 to 24. Our program also provides services to vulnerable youth who are challenged and have barriers to work, and to youth who are involved in the foster care system, homeless or runaway youth, or justice-involved.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist CCM's SYEP/SYEP/WLG depa1tment during the intake, enrollment, retention and auditing processes of the SYEP/WLG program
  • Contact selected applicants and set up appointments for the intake process
  • Greet and inform youth and their families about the intake process and the SYEP/WLG program
  • Conduct interviews and assessments that may result in the enrollment or disqualification of SYEP/WLG applicants.
  • Monitor and ensure program eligibility through the maintenance of sensitive documentation that must be in compliance with NYC's Department of Youth and Community Development's (DYCD) SYEP/WLG database.
