    ABOUT THE ROLE E15 Data Consulting Internship ProgramMay August 2024You're someone who loves spreadsheets and formulas as much as sampling a new recipe or visiting your favorite restaurant.

    You're a creative problem solver, a collaborator, and an innovator. To you, there's nothing better than uncovering the 'why' or 'what' behind a certain consumer dining behavior.


    Position Description:


    As an intern in this 11-week program, you'll have the opportunity to work with our Data Consulting team as they create data analytics tools for some of the nation's most well-known brands.

    You will be matched with an E15 mentor and collaborate on a project to improve performance reporting and access for our set of renowned clients The position is hybrid and requires three to four days working from E15's Home Office located in downtown Chicago and one to two days working remotely.

    You may be eligible for a housing subsidy to assist in temporary relocation.


    Responsibilities:
    Develop polished and insightful business intelligence reporting tools Clean and validate data sources Collaborate across E15 teamsThoroughly document and share internship work and progress with mentorsPresent deliverable to all E15 teams at close of internship

    You Have:
    Sharp analytical ability, problem solving, and attention to detail Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong logical and quantitative skills Collaborative and proactive approach to problem-solvingData visualization experience (Tableau preferred)

    You Might Also Have:

    Proficiency in Excel and PowerPointFamiliarity with SQL and data manipulation methodsExperience with data modeling Knowledge of data pipelinesJob SummaryAs an intern, you will be working closely with Compass Group leaders to develop skills and competencies to be successful in your prospective industry.

    You will gain valuable experience in any of the following areas:
    operations, marketing, administration, guest services, problem solving, planning and implementation of innovative projects, and client relationship skills. This internship involves hands-on experiences which will provide opportunities for your personal success and development. This position is paid, but not eligible for benefits such as medical, relocation, or housing.
