    Chem-Aqua - Senior Applications Specialist

    Thank you for exploring a career with Chem-Aqua, a division of NCH Corporation, an international company where we work in small teams that have a direct impact on success. We are looking for aSenior Applications Specialistto work with experienced engineers and mentor less experienced engineers on all aspects of water treatment in a variety of industries. In this role, you will leverage your educational and/or work experiences to provide technical sales support to our 600+ field sales representatives.

    Responsibilities:

    • Provide technical support to our sales representatives, sales managers and customers to solve complex problems
    • Help train and support sales representatives and colleagues
    • Help develop new training and technical support materials
    • Provide support for key sales, training, or research initiatives
    • Complete technical audits and reviews for key accounts
    • Provide technical support for large account proposals
    • Participate in special projects as assigned by management

    Requirements:

    • 10+ years of industrial water treatment
    • Bachelor's degree chemistry, engineering, biology or other science required
    • Extensive experience in boiler water and cooling water sales
    • Experience in raw water, wastewater, and process treatment a plus
    • Mechanical aptitude with excellent problem-solving skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office
    • Great organizational skills, close attention to detail, excellent follow through, and ability to multi-task all a must
    • Must have a positive attitude, a commitment to client service and a willingness to support the office team with a variety of assignments
    • Must possess high-level of professionalism and strong communication skills
