Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

As a Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for overseeing the financial activities of the organization and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations.

This is a key role that requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Responsibilities:

Prepare and analyze financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Perform general ledger reconciliation and ensure accuracy of financial data
Conduct monthly, quarterly, and annual closing activities
Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts
Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules
Review and reconcile intercompany transactions
Ensure compliance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and other regulatory requirements
Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial analysis and support for decisionmaking processes
Assist in the implementation of accounting software systems and provide training to staff as needed
Stay updated on industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance (Master's degree preferred)
CPA certification is highly desirable
Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
Experience with balance sheet reconciliation and general ledger maintenance
Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail
Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of technical accounting standards and regulations
Familiarity with payroll processes is a plus

Must be proficent in GAAP and ECEL spreadsheets
