    **Job Summary**

    As a Market Research Analyst at AEP Energy, you will be a crucial member of the Customer Experience team, providing in-depth customer research, data analytics, and actionable insights to enhance our brand. Your role will be pivotal in gathering, analyzing, and disseminating information to drive improvements in the AEP Energy customer experience. You will be responsible for reporting and analyzing customer feedback, identifying key pain points, coordinating research efforts, implementing solutions, and measuring the success of these initiatives.

    **Job Description**

    **Key Duties & Responsibilities:**

    + Spearhead AEP Energys Customer Experience Survey Program

    + Develop and maintain dashboard databases and reporting of survey feedback

    + Formulate and test hypotheses to evaluate business strategies and measure impact

    + Investigate 3rd party data sets that complement our internally sourced data

    + Author reports and presentations to communicate your process and results

    + Provide recommendations for system and process improvements/enhancements.

    + Assist with other projects as assigned

    **Knowledge & Skill Requirements:**

    + Experience with Microsoft Power BI, Tableau or similar data visualization tool

    + Knowledge of one or more SQL languages (e.g. MySQL, Oracle)

    + Ability to learn and utilize new analytical software to perform day-to-day duties.

    + Experience with all or either software Python, R, Rapidminer is a plus

    + Good knowledge of mathematical and statistical principles and formulas.

    + Prior experience in Market Research and surveys is a plus.

    + Experience with Market Research Platform Qualtrics is a plus.

    **Education & Experience Requirements:**

    + Bachelors degree in Statistics, Data Analytics, Marketing or Economics required.

    **Compensation Data**

    **Compensation Grade:**

    SP20-006

    **Compensation Range:**

    $70, ,700.50 USD

    Candidates will be considered based on their qualifications and the candidates ability to work from an approved work location. Although the location is flexible, AEP does not have a presence in all states and localities. The following locations are NOT currently approved for this position: AK, CA, CO, CT, DE, HI, IA, ID, KS, MA, ME, MS, MT, ND, NH, NJ, NM, NV, NY, OR, RI, SD, UT, VT, WY, US Territories or international work locations. AEP will consider qualified candidates who are willing to relocate to an approved work location, at the candidates expense, provided the relocation can be completed within a timeframe that meets AEPs staffing needs. NOTE: All remote work locations require vetting and final approval prior to offer and/or start date. Any work locations listed as preferred or unapproved relate specifically to the requirements for this position and are not necessarily applicable to other posted positions.
