Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist - Job Description

Position Overview:

The Data Analyst & Reporting Specialist role focuses on data analysis, visualization, and reporting to support informed decision-making in the Non-Emergency Medical Transportation (NEMT) industry. We are seeking a candidate who is passionate about data analysis and reporting, and who is interested in contributing to the NEMT sector by helping us leverage data-driven insights to enhance the experience for our clients and partners at Provide A Ride.

Key Responsibilities:

Data Analysis:
- Collect, organize, and analyze data from various sources in the NEMT industry.
- Identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights through data analysis.
- Develop and maintain data models for accurate reporting.
Data Visualization:
- Utilize data visualization tools, such as Power BI, to create interactive and intuitive dashboards.
- Transform complex data into visually appealing representations.
- Customize dashboards to meet the specific needs of different stakeholders.
Reporting and Presentations:
- Generate regular and ad-hoc reports for internal and external audiences.
- Prepare clear and concise presentations to communicate findings and recommendations effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure reports align with organizational goals.
Data Quality Assurance:
- Implement data validation processes to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Address data discrepancies and anomalies promptly.
Continuous Improvement:
- Stay updated with industry trends and emerging data analytics tools.
- Suggest process improvements based on data analysis and insights.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., Data Science, Business Analytics, Statistics) is preferred. However, equivalent experience will also be considered.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, and other data analytics tools.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently.
Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
Familiarity with the NEMT industry or healthcare analytics is a plus but not required.
