    Description

    Title:
    Seeking a Senior Controls Engineer for Permanent Position in Cleveland, Ohio


    Introductory Paragraph:
    Our client is seeking an experienced and talented Senior Controls Engineer to join their team.

    This position offers a permanent opportunity based in Cleveland, Ohio with excellent benefits including competitive salary of $100000 per year.


    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Automation Engineering
    • Minimum 5 years' experience as a controls engineer
    • Strong background working with Allen Bradley PLCs or DCS (Distributed Control Systems)

    Skills:
    The ideal candidate should possess the following skills-


    • Proficiency in process control systems design.
    • Ability to program programmable logic controllers (PLCs) efficiently
    Responsibilities include but not limited to :


    • Designing electrical schematics, panel layouts & BOM's utilizing AutoCAD Electrical/ Solid works Electrical.
    • Commissioning plant automation equipment such as packaging lines , conveying systems etc., by programming various brands of Programmable Logic Controllers(Allen-Bradley).
    . Providing technical support on-site when required while ensuring that all work complies with company standards.


    Additional details :
    This hybrid role requires up to 25% travel.
