We are currently assisting our client, an industry leader, with a Controls Engineering Manager search near Cleveland, OH. The successful candidate will be responsible for day to day support, troubleshooting and problem solving focused on driving increased equipment uptime and throughput as well as designing, development, testing and installation for all plant electrical systems.

Responsibilities:

• Update, modify, and continuously improve existing controls systems and other software for control of equipment, products and systems
• Design electrical controls, equipment, products and systems for industrial purposes
• Specify, install, program and maintain industrial robot systems throughout the plant
• Collaborate with Maintenance and Production on problem solving activities, cost reduction initiatives and performance efficiency improvements
• Electrical/electronic troubleshooting

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or similar related degree preferred
• PLC programming knowledge
• Experience with electrical drawing and schematics
