- Developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy to effectively promote our programs, initiatives and mission
- Collaborating with key stakeholders to identify communication goals, target audiences and messaging strategies
- Working closely with BTBL's content team to ensure messaging resonates using accessible graphic design and/or digital approaches (animation, social campaign asset development) and is consistent across all communication channels
- Writing and editing compelling copy for various communication channels, including website content, blog posts and email/hard copy newsletters
- Managing our presence on social media, including creating and scheduling content, engaging with followers, and monitoring analytics
- Developing social media campaigns to increase visibility, engagement and brand awareness while ensuring content is accessible to all users
- Bachelor's degree in graphic design or related area.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience producing and managing multimedia design projects for online and print elements including, social media, web pages, print collateral, advertising, and media campaigns
- Technical skills: Salesforce Marketing Cloud, WordPress, Adobe Creative Suite
- Accessibility skills - preferred
- Excellent writing and editing skills

Perkins Braille and Talking Book Library (BTBL)
We are the public library for people who can't read print. We bring access to people who thought reading may be gone from their lives due to visual impairments, strokes, dyslexia, physical disabilities, etc. The BTBL circulates more than half a million accessible books, newspapers, and publications in braille, large print, and digital audio formats annually to thousands of registered patrons with print disabilities in New England and beyond.
