    Description


    The Engineering Manager will be responsible for leading a team of engineers and overseeing the design, development, and implementation of websites, systems, and APIs.

    The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and a proven track record of architecting scalable and efficient solutions.


    Key responsibilities include:
    Leading and mentoring a team of engineers to deliver high-quality, efficient, and scalable web applications, systems, and APIs
    Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions
    Architecting and designing robust, scalable, and maintainable web applications, systems, and APIs
    Implementing best practices for software development, code reviews, and quality assurance
    Driving innovation and staying updated with the latest technologies and industry trends


    Qualifications:
    Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
    Proven experience as a software engineer or architect, with at least [number] years of experience in web development and API design
    Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team
    Proficiency in programming languages such as JavaScript, Python, or Java
    Experience with cloud platforms, microservices architecture, and containerization technologies
    Familiarity with agile methodologies and DevOps practices


    Physical Demands:
    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit.

    The employee frequently is required to walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear.

    The employee is occasionally required to stand. The employee may lift or move objects up to 5 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.
