    Description
    Our client, a thriving and growing local company, has an immediate need for a new staff accountant. The staff accountant will report directly to the controller and will be primarily responsible for general accounting functions.

    Duties include:
    • Review and reconciliations of balance sheet accounts.
    • Preparing journal entries.
    • Reconciling expense reports.
    • Credit card reconciliations.
    • Assisting with sales/use tax.
    • Assisting in month end close.
    • Other duties, as assigned.
    Candidates for the project accountant position should have 3+ years of general ledger accounting experience and a bachelors degree in accounting and/or finance, or 5+ years of experience with G/L maintenance.
