Description
This position is from 10:30 am - 1:00 pm and approximately 4-5 hours per week.SUMMARY
Oversee day to day operations to include enhancing the congregate meals operation and help participants maintain healthy nutrition by implementing and serving nutritious meals.
Recruitment of new participants.
To have a positive attitude when receiving compliments, concerns, or criticism.
To assist in all capacities of the meal program.
Take daily meal reservations on site for participants.
Collect daily meal deposits from the nutrition site.
Maintain daily meal count and accurate participant contributions.
Take accountability for the meal counts at the site.
To actively supervise all scheduled volunteers on site.
To attend meetings when requested.
Prepare meal site before and after meals up to and including tables, chairs and floor.
Complete NAPIS forms and updates for all participants.
Serve meals with the assistance of volunteers.
Preforms related duties.
QUALIFICATIONS

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concreted variables in standardized situations.
MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw/ interpret graphs.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and harms; and taste or smell.
