    Description
    Tremendous opportunity to join a solid company with consistent growth and a down to earth, hardworking team. In this role you will have the chance to lead multiple teams within their manufacturing facility


    Our client, a food co-manufacturer for the nation's leading retailers, is looking for someone to oversee their quality, safety, production, sanitation, and maintenance departments of their South Dakota facility as the Plant & Complex General Manager.

    This site is on track to double in growth over the next several years. The ideal candidate would have strong leadership skills that they have homed in a manufacturing environment. With company culture at the forefront of their mission, you can trust that you'll love coming to work every day


    A few responsibilities of the role include:


    • Forecast, scheduling, and direct day-to-day operations to meet targeted production and sales volumes.
    • Establish and manage goals, objectives, budgets, and timelines to maintain quality standards and profit margins.
    • Develop strategic growth projections and plans to anticipate and prepare for future product requirements and improvements.
    • Review production reports and set priorities to increase production and capacity while minimizing costs.
    • Maintain, develop, and implement standard operating procedures related to inventory, processing, and supply.
    • Coordinate and collaborate with other business units and complex managers in establishing and implementing company initiatives.
    • Support and implement management decisions regarding the strategy of the organization.
    • Develop annual budgets; review and compare actual results to planned budgetary performance; report results to management.
    • Assess product, compliance, and operational risks and develop risk management strategies for business unit.
    • Oversee maintenance department budget, projects, and inventory; troubleshooting when needed.

    Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, preferred but not required.
    • 10+ years of proven managerial experience in industry.

    This position offers a healthy compensation package, as well as relocation assistance This position is on-site in South Dakota; a relocation package will be offered to those who qualify.
