     Adjunct Hiring Pool - Nursing - FNP Clinical Faculty


    COMPENSATION RANGE: 1, ,590.00 USD per credit hour

    Position Summary:
    The UNC School of Nursing invitesapplications for part-time clinical faculty positions to teach in our graduateFamily Nurse Practitioner programs. Part-time, nurse practitioner clinicalfaculty primarily teach on-campus in clinical skills laboratories/simulations andconduct site visits for specialty rotations. Depending on interest andexpertise, opportunities for classroom teaching may be available. Thesepositions are filled semester by semester based on the needs of the programs.
    The positions are highly flexible, depending on the interest and experience ofthe applicant.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Master's Degree in Nursing
    Two years clinical APRN/FNPexperience
    Unencumbered CO RN/APRN license
    Nationalcertification as FNP (AANP or ANCC)

    Completion of Urine Drug Screening


    Preferred Requirements:
    Doctoral Degree inNursing

    Full-time employees are eligible to receive tuition waiver benefits, as well as dependents and spouses of UNC Employees who are employed at 0.5 FTE or above are eligible for undergraduate dependent tuition grants of up to 50%.

    These tuition grants will cover in-state tuition charges. Further requirements may exist. Other benefits may be available based on position.

    Background Check

    Satisfactory completion of a background check, educational check, and authorization to work in the United States is required after a conditional offer of employment has been made.

    This position is contingent on funding from the Colorado State Legislature, approval by the Board of Trustees, and subject to the policies and regulations of the University of Northern Colorado.
