Position Summary:
Candidates are sought to form a hiring pool for temporary positions in Communication Sciences and Disorders.
Minimum Qualifications:
Faculty candidates should hold a degree at the doctoral level or at least one degree above the course(s) being taught in a discipline relevant to the specific course(s) or have earned a master's or doctoral degree that includes at least 18 hours in a discipline relevant to the course(s) being taught.
To qualify through tested experience for instruction of undergraduate, masters or doctoral degree classes, a faculty candidate who does not hold an appropriate doctoral degree must have:
Master's Degree in Audiology, Speech-Language Pathology, Speech & Hearing Science, or related field (e.g. health, medicine, psychology, education, business, public health)
3 years of post-degree full-time experience (e.g. school-based SLP or audiologist) in the field relevant to the course being taught (language, educational audiology, etc.).
Clinical instruction faculty should also hold the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association Certificate of Clinical Competence in the appropriate discipline or another currently accepted credential of an accrediting body.

Previous teaching experience at University or professional level
