The European Site & Verbund Management continuously develops and ensures the competitiveness of BASF's major European sites. We manage the perfect integration of infrastructure, operational services, personnel services, and logistics with production at these sites. This ensures the basic supply of the company's divisions, allowing them to successfully operate in the market. In addition, we provide advice to the plants on all matters related to environmental protection, occupational and plant safety, health protection, and regulatory law.

RESPONSIBILITIES



The railcar, locomotive, and tank workshop is responsible for the maintenance of rail-bound transport vehicles at the site. We are looking for a creative and results-oriented student to support us for six months in the conception and implementation of a digital Asset Performance Management in our asset management system.

  • As an intern, you will have the opportunity to further digitize our maintenance processes.
  • You will lay the foundation for a modern maintenance system with us.
  • You will also question existing process flows and implement improvements (with internal colleagues and external partners) in our system.
  • You will support in capturing technical and revision-relevant data of our freight cars and tank containers.
  • Finally, you will work with us to derive meaningful optimization possibilities from maintenance
