    THE OPPORTUNITY FOR YOU

    As a Software Engineer, you will:
    Modify existing data and ML systems to enhance functionality.
    Develop logical and physical system descriptions, ensuring database integrity.
    Collaborate with project teams to define project scope and limitations.
    Estimate time and cost requirements for project completion based on user needs.
    Troubleshoot issues and implement necessary system changes for resolution.
    Utilize your expertise in Python, SQL, and other development tools to drive system enhancements.
    Work on high-impact projects such as Avion machine learning components and large-scale software systems.
    Maintain and improve ML systems, ensuring optimal performance.
    Generate data reports for external regulators and auditors.
    Collaborate with program managers, data scientists, and engineering points of contact to achieve project objectives.


    KEY SUCCESS FACTORS

    To excel in this role, you should possess:
    Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    Proven problem-solving abilities.
    Customer service mindset and interpersonal skills.
    Capacity to work autonomously and manage time effectively.
    Basic mentoring capabilities to provide constructive feedback.
    Comprehensive understanding of the software development lifecycle.
    Proficiency in troubleshooting technical issues.
    Knowledge of computer hardware and software fundamentals.
    Familiarity with development software such as Python and Spark.
    Previous experience with ML systems is advantageous.


    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    Ideal candidates will also demonstrate:
    Familiarity with machine learning concepts and techniques.
    Ability to perform parallel processing using tools like Spark.
    Basic statistical knowledge for data analysis.
    5+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
    Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
