    Systems Analyst


    to join other smart, talented, and dedicated engineers that pride themselves in analyzing the most difficult challenges for the launch-test range while developing and delivering solutions to meet the needs of the US Space Force and their customers.

    This opportunity designs, develops, modifies, evaluates, and implements new and existing Telemetry hardware systems, leading the technical aspects of a multi-disciplined project team.


    Clearance:
    Must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Security Clearance

    Essential Functions

    Prepare and provide progress reports, status reports, and briefingsCoordinate and communicate with senior leadership and site management regarding performance problems, issues, and improvement initiatives for Western Range (WR) Prime Mission Equipment (PME)Design, develop, and perform critical assessments of maintenance processes and procedures; make recommendations for continuous process improvement and assist with implementationManage various Operations & Maintenance (O&M) projects and perform qualitative and quantitative maintenance data analysesDevelop, produce and maintain various data products to perform in-depth analysis of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) operations, while ensuring timeliness and accuracy of all dataCoordinate and direct resolution efforts from the Maintenance Control Center (MxCC) for all PME maintenance issues encountered during most launch missionsResearch, analyze and report on emerging negative trends to help coordinate corrective actions needed to ensure continued mission support capabilitiesResolve customer concerns with analysis details and products and respond to suggestions for improvementsEvaluate junior analyst reporting products to ensure accuracy and compliance with company quality standardsProvide MXCC countdown supportPerform other duties as assignedRequirements

    Required Skills

    Ability to work independently with minimal oversight in a highly fluid environment, within a team and with other groups or customersStrong degree of professionalism, excellent organization skillsAbility to work multiple tasks concurrently and switch between tasks quicklyStrong written and verbal communications skills, and detail-oriented and ability to exercise diplomacy within a team environmentAbility to organize and participate in meetings, prepare clear oral and written direction, correspondence, and reportsGood problem-solving skills for data analysis and detection of latent issues in data productsRequired Experience

    Bachelor's degree in business, education, maintenance, or related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
    Two (2) or more years of applicable experience performing critical thinking, analysis, and/or problem-solving related work or applicable range maintenance and/or operationsExperience with use of Microsoft Office Suite, Word, Outlook, Power Point and ExcelRange experience with maintenance procedures that regulate site processes for management of maintenance, safety, logistics, technical data, security, facilities, and training is preferredUnderstanding of the Integrated Maintenance Data System (IMDS), its relationship to PME preventive and corrective maintenance, and the computation and production of "Reliability, Maintainability, Availability" (RMA) data is preferredUnderstanding of the Range launch requirements, maintenance and operations activities and their interrelationship is preferredAdditional Eligibility Qualifications


    Occasional travel to instrumentation sites on Vandenberg AFB, Point Mugu NAS, and Pillar Point AFSThe flexibility to work non-duty hours or on weekends to support specific project or mission requirementsMust be able to obtain and maintain a DoD Security clearance, which includes U.S.
