- Collaborate with the ACES Pre-College Program at Stevens and develop a sustainability module for underserved students interested in pursuing a college degree/career in sustainability and resilience.
- Recruit undergraduate students from underserved communities for participation in the PSE&G Undergraduate Research Scholars program who will work on projects with environmental justice elements.
- Work across disciplines at Stevens to identify opportunities for student scholars to receive training and develop skills as independent researchers while working on interdisciplinary sustainability and resilience projects.
- Working with the Director of the Center for Sustainability, assist participating faculty members with recruitment of PhD students to work on sustainable environmental and/or energy research, that include topics relevant to environmental justice communities.
- Expand existing partnerships with industry and identify opportunities for developing new relationships to foster student participation in sustainability and resilience projects.
- Assist the Director of the Center for Sustainability in reaching out to Stevens faculty members with expertise in sustainability and resilience research for potential Center membership.
- Assist faculty members associated with the Center in developing collaborative grant proposals in sustainability and resilience.
- Assist in event planning activities that may occur on and off campus, such as information sessions and networking events.

Working under the supervision of Director of the Center for Sustainability, the Program Manager (part-time position) is primarily responsible for managing the operations of the PSE&G Sustainability Programs for Environmental Justice.
The Program Manager will execute recruitment and placement strategies for pre-college, undergraduate and graduate students in various program initiatives and assist the Center Director in developing the Center as an anchor of cross-disciplinary research in sustainability and resilience at Stevens.
This is part-time position, approximately 25 hours per week.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Master's degree
PhD degree in environmental or sustainability management
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience, preferably in higher education
Teaching in higher education and course development
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
